www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk reports:

PICTURES released by Merseyside police show some of the young gang police are looking for in connection with a vicious homophobic attack in Liverpool city centre.

The boys – thought to be aged around 12 to 14 – were part of a six-strong group which attacked a 19-year-old gay man on the evening of Wednesday November 18.

They left him covered in blood and needing surgery on a broken nose.

The victim, a Liverpool community college student, was walking up Lord Street towards James Street station shortly before 7pm when he passed the gang of youths outside Tesco.

The group followed him up the street and, when he reached the Pret A Manger sandwich bar, they attacked him from behind, punching him in the back of the head.

They shouted homophobic insults at him during the assault.

The victim suffered cuts and bruises to his head and a broken nose.

Gay Noah’s Ark: Welcoming Two Of Every Kind

Gay Noah's Ark

A gay Noah’s ark. As much as I love the consideration – does anyone think there’s something wrong with this picture? I don’t think these guys are gonna be able to re-populate much besides a whole bunch of beautifully designed bunker rooms. I want a poster of this immediately. The original and it’s gay-creation are by artist Clifford Richards. You must check out his website, he’s got some amazing work!

No Pride in Latvia, Just an Anti LGBT Rights Group

Anti Gay Protesters

I hope these ladies sleep well at night with their oversized t-shirts, supporting NoPride.lv, another organization rallying against gay rights.  Another place to send hate mail to when you are bored.  Latvia, the country this organization is based in had homosexuality decriminalized in 1992.  Not much has progressed from there, as same sex ANYTHING is not recognized by the government. Do these people have nothing better to do with their lives than to care about something that doesn’t effect their person?  I feel for the poor relatives of these close minded individuals that may be gay, having to sit and hide it while the world rallies against them. You can learn all about what’s wrong with being gay according to these guys, here.

Concerned About Your Childs Future Sexual Orientation?

Emaso

Gay and don’t wanna be? Well apparently there is a solution…in multiple languages no less!  According to EMASO (short for Exposing Myths About Sexual Orientation) is a website chock full of professionally laid out reasons being gay is wrong, doesn’t exist…meow meow meow!  Check them out for yourself.  I think it’s time we made a Kill list here on Strong and Equal to get rid of organizations like these that are so biased they will probably implode upon themselves.  I’m not patient to wait that long.  Head on over and send them some hate mail!  If only I could find a website that exposed myths about being straight – all my questions would be answered!

Blurring Out Gay Kisses (Or Not?)

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

Adam Lambert

We are being given mixed messages through the media in regards to this ’same-sex’ kissing that seems to be on everyones minds these days.  Adam Lambert’s American Music Awards kiss was much less dramatic than the kiss between Christina, Madonna and Britney back in 2003 at the MTV Video Music Awards.  So why is Adams same-sex kiss being blurred out on CBS and not the infamous one with Madonna?  Is it okay to kiss someone of the same sex publicly or on stage if you aren’t gay – but not okay if you are?  That makes no sense to me.  Is it because people would rather see girls kissing than boys? – I guess that’s the simple answer.  Where is the shock and roll we used to love?  Isn’t this shit what we watch the damn awards for?

Britney Spears & Madonna Kiss

There have yet to be any legal consequences for Lambert (hopefully none), and certainly were none for Britney, Christina and Madonna.  The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) said the CBS decision “reinforces an unfortunate double standard that is applied to openly gay performers.” You be the judge!
